Dear Presbyweb Editor: I write recommending that everyone read the Waldt/Brundage letters, and to keep them before your readership one day longer before they are only known to those of us who use your archives. Rev. Waldt's letters perfectly apply the righteous and the orthodox positions to the "issue of the day." Rev. Brundage's letters are a perfect exposition of the heretical and the heterodox, or if less charitably but more accurately put, the pagan point of view on the "issue of the day." These letters are also perfect examples of the two sides taken in the PCUSA on this "issue of the day", and they describe and expose to their readers the lack of leadership--"the faultline"--within the PCUSA which runs right through 100 Witherspoon. Read these letters and in a mere thousand words or so you will understand just how shaky our foundation is when we build on the sands of time--time modern and post-modern--and no longer believe if not sing "How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word! " Thank you Rev. Waldt, and in a perverse sort of way, thank you too, Rev. First Presbyterian Church A Confessing Church Santa Rosa, CA Send
