Dear Editor:

I have read Don Stroud's Feb. 28th report lamenting the defeat of Amendment A. It not only laments but condemns those who in good conscience believe that the bible declares marriage or chastity to be God's will for humanity. Such people think that by continually lambasting and degrading those who uphold God's standard of morality they can break us down little by little until they get their way. They are wrong. The more we read scripture and the more we look and dialogue about such "lifestyles" the more convicted people will be that God's standard of morality (one man, one woman in marriage) is the moral example God wants from His leaders and the more determined such people will be not to give in to the morality of Sodom.
