To the editor: If Mr. Bullock is right, is there any sense at all in maintaining the enormous apparatus and bureaucracy which, at the national level is the PCUSA? Might it not make sense to simply allow for much looser interconnections of local churches, more or less regardless of tradiltional denominational connections? In other words, if the denominations are dead (and my guess is that most of what Mr. Bullock writes applies to all of them), why not give them a decent and honorable burial?Dan Reuter, Pastor Prospect, PA Send
