    The International Health Ministries Office (IHMO) ) is charged with coordinating the ministries of the PC(USA) in international health and development. The IHMO works in partnership with overseas churches and institutions, under indigenous leadership, to develop health programs which place priority on the most vulnerable and poorest segments of the population. These programs, operating in over 30 countries worldwide, emphasize ways to alleviate the causes of ill health and promote true health and wholeness.

    The Magnetic Church - web site of Andrew D. Weeks, author of Welcome! Tools and Techniques for New Member Ministry (Alban Institute). Andrew has a ministry of weekend events on Non-confrontational, Practical Evangelism to help mainline churches attract and retain members. Many presbyteries have sponsored his workshops.

    Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) - in Partnership with the PC(USA). "We're a group of dedicated Presbyterians throughout the U.S. who are committed to providing medical support for people in remote areas throughout the world." MBF is a validated support group of the PC(USA).

    National Association of Presbyterian Scouters - a denominational Scouters association recognized by the Boy Scouts of America. The association was incorporated in the state of Texas in May, 1986. In 1988 NAPS became linked with the Education and Congregational Nurture Ministry Unit of the Presbyterian Church (USA), but  continues to recognize and work closely with all autonomous Presbyterian Congregations.

    New Wineskins Task Force "...a meeting place to discuss the future of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Where is God leading us, and how are we going to get there?"

    Office of International Evangelism (IE) of the Worldwide Ministries Division of the PC(USA). The world has become a Global Village. However, many people still have not heard the Gospel and a significant number of ethnic groups still do not have a self-sustaining Christian church. PC(USA) partners around the world continue to ask us to join in their evangelism and church development efforts.

    Office of Theology and Worship "Helping the Church to Think, Pray, and Live the Faith" Supports the church through a variety of programs, resources, and events.

    One by One "...mission: To educate and equip the Church to minister the transforming grace and power of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who are in conflict with their sexuality."

    PC(USA) Seminaries Ten Presbyterian seminaries, as well as two theological institutions related to the denomination by covenant agreement, serve the church in many ways.

    Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP) "Working to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes" Information about the many aspects of this program, including about how to get involved.

    Semper Reformanda "A progressive Presbyterian organization of individuals and groups motivated by God's spirit to study and work toward shaping the future of the church and the world."

    Shower of Stoles Project "...is a collection of hundreds of liturgical stoles from gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people of faith from all over North America, from Canada to Cuba, Alaska to Hawaii. The individuals represented by these stoles are active leaders in their faith communities -- ordained ministers, elders, deacons, seminarians, church musicians, missionaries, and other gifted people -- who have been barred from serving their faith community because of their sexual orientation."

    Spiritual Formation in the PC(USA) -- "In 1994 spiritual formation was defined as a priority for our denomination...     Theology Matters Quarterly Presbyterian theological journal, published by Faith, Family and Ministry. "We are a group of Presbyterian women and men, clergy and laity who believe that Theology Matters-- what we believe has consequences for our family and our ministry." All articles of all issues posted, from its beginning in 1995.

    The Vital Churches Institute "...one of America's leading resources in equipping pastors and church leaders for congregational vitality." Founder and leader is Dr. Stanley Ott, pastor of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, a 1600-member church in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

    Voices of Sophia "...a community of women and men in the larger community of the Presbyterian Church (USA) being reformed by God through the Spirit of the living Christ and working toward the transformation of the church into a discipleship of equals..."

    Worldwide Ministries Division This is the frontpage for all program areas of the WMD. The WMD is one of the three Ministries Divisions of the PC(USA).
